Promoting Peace & Justice (PPJ) Dhaka

Weekly activities for the duration of 05-11 March 2021

Mr. Md. Ahammed Hosain, Balia Union under Dhamrai Upazila of Dhaka district said that “the government is working for the welfare of the people, especially the old age allowance, freedom fighter allowance, widow allowance and student stipend allowance. Similarly, the government is providing legal services to the poor people through legal aid. Our work will be to inform the public about legal aid services and how to get to the district legal aid office? Through us the people will know about the services of legal aid. They will seek legal aid help from the union council. If we cannot provide legal aid, then we will hand over the district legal aid office to them. Since the forthcoming Union Parishad elections, I have to be busy with public relations, if the Union Secretary or other Parishad member hears or sees their problems/cases they will get legal help. If we do these things, then our bi-monthly meeting today will be successful”
